General information on magnets and reciprocal movements. Lines of force (Faraday). Diamagnetic substance (water) moved by a magnet. Floating magnets. The Oersted experience. Ampère: actions between currents, equivalence between a magnetic disk and a current-carrying coil. A game with stacks and washers.

Prof. Ugo Galassi

Physic degree. He taught Mathematics and Physics. A.I.F. member 1969. Co-founder of the A.I.F. Section Cagliari, of which he has been secretary since 1980. He Co-founded the magazine “Asterischi di Fisica”. He created a notable and well-equipped physics laboratory in the Pacinotti scientific high school, finishing his school career as principal of the Alberti scientific high school.
Co-founder of the ScienzaSocietaScienza Committee and of the subsequent Association.
