Despite the progress made in recent decades, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines continue to reflect significant gender disparities. Women are still underrepresented, especially in senior positions, and face often invisible but deeply rooted obstacles and challenges.
This talk will begin with the numbers that demonstrate this gap, seeking to understand the causes of this imbalance, analyze the consequences for society and science, and explore concrete solutions to imagine a future of science that is truly accessible to all.
