On Friday, September 26, the SHARPER – European Researchers’ Night event returns to Cagliari and 14 other Italian cities.
The ScienzaSocietàScienza Association is participating with two workshops:
– “Exploring Microworlds,” with Professors Daniela Fadda, Laura Bifulco, and Tiziana Tomasi, and students from the I.I.S. De Sanctis-Deledda Institute in Cagliari;
– “AstroLab and the Occultation of Betelgeuse by the Asteroid 319 Leona,” with Professors Antonello Tinti and Ernesto Porceddu, and students from the Liceo Scientifico Euclide in Cagliari.

Experiments with humble materials. The ScienzaSocietàScienza Association opens its 2026 program with a special meeting with Professor Ugo Galassi, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM in Cagliari, at the Aula Magna of the Pacinotti Scientific High School. Free admission.
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate at Via Università 40, the Christmas Lecture “Critical Materials, Critical Decisions: The Future of the European Battery Industry,” given by Professor Silvia Bodoardo of the Polytechnic University of Turin, will be held.
On November 27, 2025, the Members’ Assembly of the ScienzaSocietàScienza Association elected the officers for the three-year period 2026-2028.
