The excursion takes place as part of Planet Earth Week, on an annual basis. The topic concerns the geomorphology of the Molentargius Saline Regional Natural Park. The excursion allows to discover the fossil beach dating back to the Tyrrhenian period, that is, 125,000 years ago, when the Poetto beach had not yet formed.

The appointment for the start of the excursion to the fossil beach of Molentargius is at 9.30 am at Sali Scelti and at 10 am at Rollone
