The Festival is combined with a photo contest on Instagram: #ScienzaInMovimentoCfs.

With this initiative we ask you to interpret the theme of the Cagliari FestivalScienza 2023 with photos or videos.

Tell us what science and technology mean to you in their mutual relationship.
The regulation is disseminated through the website www.festivalscienzacagliari.it and social networks.

Name: #ScienzaInMovimento
Period: from 9/11/2023 to 14/11/2023.

Who can participate and how

anyone can participate through their Instagram account by publishing photographs or videos accompanied by the two official hashtags: #ScienzaInMovimento and #cagliariscienza23 and by a brief description: what is portrayed and how it represents the theme of the competition.

What to shoot

situations of everyday life or reconstructions in which adherence to the theme of the 2023 Festival is evident: “Science In Motion”.

Responsibility of the participant and right of exclusion

Participants are in all respects responsible for the material published with the hashtag #ScienzaInMovimento, therefore relieving the organizers of the Cagliari Festivalscienza 2023 from any responsibility.

Participants will abide by the following rules:
a) the photographs and videos uploaded with the hashtag #ScienzaInMovimento are taken by the participants themselves and do not infringe the rights of third parties;
b) the photos and videos do not contain defamatory, discriminating, offensive, obscene or violence-inducing material.

Copyright

The rights to the photographs and videos remain the exclusive property of the author who produced them, who authorizes their use within the Cagliari FestivalScienza.

How the winner is chosen

The 3 photos that will have obtained the highest number of “LIKES” in the Instagram profile.

The prize

the authors of the first 3 photos will be awarded a souvenir prize of the Cagliari FestivalScienza 2023.

The winners

the 3 chosen photos will be published on the social networks of the Cagliari FestivalScienza 2023.

Awards

The awards ceremony will take place during the final day of the Cagliari FestivalScienza 2023.

WANGARI MUTA MAATHAI

Ihithe, 1940 – Nairobi, 2011 Kenyan environmentalist and activist. In 2004 she was the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. She was a Kenyan parliamentarian and Assistant Minister for Environment and Natural Resources in the government of President Mwai Kibaki, between January 2003 and November 2005. Wangari Muta Maathai was presented by students Elena Cabras and Bianca Nioteni from the Pacinotti Scientific High School, Cagliari.
