The theme and dates for the XVII edition of the Cagliari FestivalScienza have been announced: CONTAMINATING.
In Cagliari from 7 to 12 November 2024, in Nuoro on 13 and 14 November, Oristano 13 and 14 November, Siniscola 21 and 22 November, Sarcidano-Trexenta from 21 to 23 November and Iglesias from 28 to 30 November 2024.
The ScienzaSocietàScienza Association will also be present this year with the “Salt and Science” workshop-exhibition at the Salt Harvesting Festival organized by the FAI from 09 to 17 September 2023 – Saline Conti Vecchi
We thank Emilio Molinari for the attention shown over the years for the Cagliari FestivalScienza and the Woman of Science Award, at the same time we wish the new Director Federica Govoni a good job.
The Science on Stage Italy Festival will take place on 22, 23 and 24 September 2023 in Città della Scienza.
Among the numerous sketches received for the graphic representation of the theme of the XVI Edition of the Cagliari FestivalScienza, “Science in Movement”, the work by Daniel Fulghesu, student of the 5S of the “Domenico Alberto Azuni” Institute of Higher Education in Cagliari, was selected , forwarded by Prof. Stefania Grilli.
The Passione Scienza Day, now in its second edition, took place on Thursday 20 July, organized by the ScienzaSocietàScienza Association in collaboration with the Science is Cool Association and the Orto Botanico of Cagliari.
The “Woman of Science 2023” Special Award announced by the ScienzaSocietàScienza Association, organizer of the Cagliari FestivalScienza, goes to the scientific journalist Silvia Rosa Brusin.

Kenyan environmentalist and activist. In 2004 she was the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. She was a Kenyan parliamentarian and Assistant Minister for Environment and Natural Resources in the government of President Mwai Kibaki, between January 2003 and November 2005.
Wangari Muta Maathai was presented by students Elena Cabras and Bianca Nioteni from the Pacinotti Scientific High School, Cagliari.
