Medicine is changing. The reasons are linked to the availability of data and information never had in the past, from genetic and ‘omics’ data in general to those of the molecular biology of lesions such as tumors, to those deriving from anatomical and functional images of our organism. The conference will focus in particular on this last aspect, trying to answer some questions such as: how much influence can images have on ‘personalised’ care today?; What new approach can be expected in the use of similar techniques for both diagnosis and therapy?
